Development of ULTIMATE solutions for naval constructions along year 2006 brings many successes.
As an example, the high performance material ULTIMATE insulates the new generation of AIDA cruise ships, designed for more than 2000 passengers, with 250 metres length and 32 metres width. Mainly high level of fire protection but also insulation for thermal and acoustics requirements have been delivered by ULTIMATE, with benefits of light weight solutions, fast mounting and high compressibility. Acceptance of ULTIMATE for customers is high and deliveries are now expanding to all marine active European countries, with increased sales by three times.
ULTIMATE excels in the main marine applications such as cruise ships (Finland, Germany, France, Italy...), yachts (Netherlands, Germany..), offshore (Norway, UK....), navy (France, Germany...), ferries (Finland, Poland...) and river cruisers (Netherlands and Germany).
The next prestigious reference for ULTIMATE is the delivery in 2007 for the world largest drilling rigg Aker for drilling up to 10.000m depth in Norway.
